After growing up in Palos Verdes and venturing to the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications, he returned back to the South Bay to marry his wife Aimee Fahlbusch, who was born and raised in Kauai, Hawaii. Chad and Aimee are the proud parents of two boys, Thatcher and Blake. Thatcher is a graduate of Mira Costa High School and is now playing Division 1 college volleyball at the University of Hawaii. Blake is a senior in high school and will be attending USC in the fall of 2026 as a Volleyball player as well. Chad and Aimee are active in their community and are avid participants in the Manhattan Beach Ed Foundation/PTA sponsorship. Chad proudly sponsors Mira Costa High School sports, Manhattan Beach Little League, and has been a sponsor of the Manhattan and Hermosa Beach schools.
Chad's business background started at a very early age after being raised in a family sports television business. His father owned VTE Mobile Television Productions which provided all of the live television production equipment, trucks and crews for over 1,000 live sporting events annually. After graduating college he was involved in producing 3 years of Major League Baseball telecasts and managed major accounts with ESPN, ABC, and FOX sports.
